Program Note:  Commissioned by Noah Bedrin, Doppelgesang was premiered at the 2015 World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg, France on 11 July 2015 by the dedicatee and pianist Shoko Hayashizaki. Subsequent performances by Bedrin of Doppelgesang have occurred in Tübingen and Düsseldorf, Germany.
